VW Golf gets a particularly dark edition in the UK

The Volkswagen Golf Black Edition takes the R-Line spec and enhances it with special black wheels, tinted windows and a stylish black paintjob with no alternatives. The asking price is £31,985.

Customers get to choose from three engines in this edition. The cheapest option is a 1.5T mated to a manual gearbox. Paying a little extra gets you a mild hybrid, and shelling out on the top spec nets you a 2.0T spec with 187 PS (184 hp / 138 kW), automatic transmission and all-wheel drive.
