Volkswagen continues hiding the new Touareg under camo and says the photos were taken near the Arctic Circle.
It is official now that the next generation of the SUV enjoys major improvements to its chassis and exterior design. Even with the wrap on, you can still see a differently shaped radiator grille and new bumper curvature. The lights all around are going to be new, too, including more sophisticated matrix LEDs at the front.
The cabin will retain its Digital Ensemble, but the infotainment system will benefit from reworked software, better route mapping and a more advanced voice assistant.
The official premiere remains scheduled for the summer of 2023.
