This Chevy Silverado will take you where no man has trodden before

Car Classic Auctions will soon attempt to sell an insane monster truck named Mayhem, based on a first-gen Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD. Aside from giant wheels and cranked-up height, it can take 11 passengers along for a ride.

The tires measure 66 inches across, rendering virtually every kind of rough terrain passable. The truck bed has been retrofitted with eight seats, and the cabin has three more, so if you get behind the wheel, you might as well want to find ten volunteers to go with you.

The Mayhem has taken part in multiple races and competitions, so some damage is present, but no major dents and rust. Power comes from an eight-cylinder engine rated at 300 PS (296 hp / 221 kW), which is not OEM. One final highlight comes in the form of a backup brake system.
