Meet the new Zeekr Mix, a minivan almost ready for launch

Unlike Zeekr’s other vehicles, the Mix gets a normal-sounding name instead of an alphanumeric index. It lacks visible door handles, but the mystery should be lifted at the upcoming Beijing Auto Show in late April.

According to AutoHome, the Zeekr Mix looks stylistically similar to the company’s previous release, the sedan called 007. Both have a LED stripe at the rear end capable of displaying simple animations.

It looks like the side doors may hinged instead of sliding. There may be servomotor-based locks built into the pillars along with proximity sensors for hands-free opening. There could be a fingerprint scanner, a key fob receiver or another similar device – we probably won’t learn more until the launch.

Certification images of the same minivan appeared in the database of China’s Ministry of Industry and IT a while ago. The spec sheet mentioned a total body length of only 4.69 meters (15.4 ft.) with a comparatively large wheelbase of 3,008 mm (9.87 ft.). We suppose this was done to maximize the interior space. At any rate, the Zeekr 007 is going to be roughly half a meter (20 inches) shorter than the range-topping 009 model.

The only powertrain registered so far envisions a single electric motor at the rear axle driving it with 421 PS (415 hp / 310 kW). There will be two battery sizes to choose between.
