Chevrolet Corvette C8 gets new styling and suspension from GeigerCars

German tuner GeigerCars has presented its vision of the mid-engined, eighth-gen Chevy Corvette, upgrading it with coilovers, new wheels, performance brakes, and a body kit.

Contributing to the aerodynamic performance of the car are a carbon-fiber front splitter and a rear spoiler. The tuner claims they increase the attainable top speed along with downforce, while also improving steering. An air vent in the front bumper serves the same goal – a pity that we do not have any specific numbers, though.

Filling out the arches are OZ Racing forged wheels sized 19” front and 20” rear, shod in Pirelli P Zero Trofeo R tires. The new wheel set helps the sports coupe shed 20 kilograms (45 lbs) of weight. KW coilovers allow for ride height adjustments, and the braking system benefits from upmarket steel-flex lines and track-ready linings.

The 6.2-liter V8 has stayed stock, which in the Z51 specification means 503 PS (495 hp / 369 kW) and a 0-60 mph (0-97 km/h) sprint in 2.9 seconds.
