Mercedes-AMG E63 S Estate sprint time goes under 3.0s

The Mercedes-AMG E63 S is one of the fastest premium estate/wagon cars on the market. Even in its bone-stock version, it comes equipped with an engine churning out an impressive 612 horsepower (456 kilowatts) and up to 850 Newton-meters (627 pound-feet) of torque. It also makes the standard 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) sprint in 3.5 seconds. You would think this would be enough for everyone; you would be mistaken.

Tuner Renntech has decided to experiment and see just what it could squeeze out of the car with a bit of tuning. A couple of enhanced turbine chargers, an advanced air intake system, an Akrapovic exhaust system and an ECU remap resulted in the Mercedes-AMG E63 S jumping to an amazing 825 hp (615 kW) with over 1,000 Nm (738 lbft) of torque. The car now also concludes the standard sprint in under three seconds.

To highlight the modifications, the team gave the car a set of 21-inch AG Luxury Wheels painted bronze and lowered its ride height.
