Hyundai i30 N, i30 Fastback N spotted in mid-facelift

Car photographers have netted another portion of spy photos, this time around of a camo-clad Hyundai i30 N and i30 Fastback N.

It looks like, aside from the new headlights we’ve already seen before, the two ‘beefed-up’ i30 versions get larger air intakes in the front bumper and larger exhaust tips.

The engine range might also be revised. The current-gen i30 N ships with a four-cylinder turbo engine normally rated at 250 hp (186 kW) and 353 Nm (260 pound-feet) of torque. Opting for the Performance package raises the power to 275 hp (205 kW). It appears likely that the facelift series will finally get a dual-clutch transmission in addition to the currently available manual gear. The manufacturer said earlier that there were no technical difficulties in adding the DCT to the lineup.
