Alpine announces three EVs at once

The French automaker will be releasing two production cars based on Renault chassis and another one based on a Lotus platform.

Alpine, which is a part of Groupe Renault, has plans in store for a B-class hatchback based on the CMF-B EV architecture. A C-class SUV based on CME EV tech is likewise underway, and the third entry is a sports car the company intends to co-develop with Lotus. The corresponding agreement has reportedly already been concluded, although no further details are available.

For its part, Lotus is currently working on bringing its 2,000-PS (1,471-kW) Evija hypercar to market. Alpine only has one model on offer right now, the mid-engined A100 coupe (watch the video for a reminder).

No launch timeframes have been revealed so far.
