Video: $890 turns a seedy trailer into a serviceable motorhome

A YouTuber named President Chay has uploaded a story that goes on to show that camping doesn’t have to be ludicrously expensive. The tiny trailer seen here cost $100 on Facebook Marketplace and took $790 to polish to perfection.

As soon as he took hold of it, the new owner put a power battery on board, lined up the floor with a heating grid and replaced the worn-out wooden sides of the trailer. These modifications cost the most of all.

He then made a point out of using cheap repurposed materials to build the rest. Among other things, he scavenged old wooden pallets and fashioned them into a tabletop and used wood shavings to mold the panels for a cupboard.

A door in the back leads to a kitchenette on the one side and two single beds on the other side. The bottom bed doubles as a sofa, and there is even a small AC unit at the front.
