Ford F-150 gets supercharged engine with 650 hp

Car tuner Roush Performance has released the 2018 Roush F-150 SC, a custom version of the Ford F-150 pickup truck with a supercharger and lots of styling parts.

The team began by upgrading the car with the TVS R2650 Supercharger Package. As a result, the output of the Ford’s 5.0-liter V8 engine went up to 650 hp (485 kW) and 827 Nm (610 lb·ft) of torque. For the car to better cope with the added motor strength, it received a new exhaust system with adjustable sound.

The car also gained a Fox Racing suspension kit, 20-inch wheels clad in off-road tires, a new radiator grille, fender overlays with accent lighting, and a front bumper cover.

Prices for a Ford F-150 by Roush Performance start at U.S. $23,000.
