Car Tuning
The Acura Integra Type S HRC seen here benefits from a number of upgrades designed by Honda Racing Corporation. None of them have entered production just yet, but they will if the customers show enough interest in them.
On the outside, the biggest a new front bumper with a larger splitter and an impressively sized rear diffuser are the main highlights. There is also a carbon-fiber hood with vents and 19-inch forged wheels shod in Pirelli P Zero Trofeo R tires. The rear end gets a carbon wing on aluminum supports, and the whole body gets sprayed in Metallic Yellow.
To keep the curb weight as low as possible, the car has carbon-fiber rear doors and Recaro seats made from the same light material. The rear seats are gone, replaced with a roll cage, and a spare wheel set can be found on a carbon rack at the back. Those who don’t need climate control in their track toy may have it deleted, too.
The stock 2.0-liter turbo engine under the hood gets a larger intercooler to work with, a twin oil cooler and a tweaked exhaust system. Coilovers in the suspension and six-piston Brembo calipers at the front axle ensure sporty handling in all scenarios.
