A rare 1974 Alfa Romeo GTV 2000 that recently went through a full round of restoration and tuning in Germany is up for grabs in the Netherlands. It rides on the same high-end suspension as the famous Alfaholics GTA-R and benefits from a rebuilt engine.
New carburetors, air filter and oil catch tank let the 2.0-liter four-cylinder mill output 184 PS (181 hp / 135 kW) and 215 Nm (159 lb-ft) of torque to the wheels. The transmission is five-speed manual, and a limited-slip differential is installed for better torque control.
On the exterior side of things, the Alfa looks like new with its gorgeous red paint, carbon-fiber hood and stainless-steel exhaust system. The interior combines black vinyl on the seats with natural wood trims on the dash. The steering wheel and the gauges are new as well.
The seller claims it took two years and roughly $300,000 to get the car restored. It is now being offered on Bring-a-Trailer with the bidding at $45,000 and two days remaining.
