Aston Martin DB4 found in a barn after three decades of collecting dust

A 60-year-old Aston Martin DB4 is on sale now after spending half of its life in a shed somewhere. The current price amounts to 325,000 USD.

The current owner received the coupe from his boss, as a means of payment for restoring another vehicle back in the 1980s. He had originally intended to have it restored, too, but never got around to it and ended up abandoning it altogether for three decades.

The chassis, drivetrain, bodywork and most other parts are completely original. Judging by the images, the Aston is still in a dire need of a complete overhaul, but once that is finished, chances are it will sell for a much more impressive figure still.

Aston Martin made 1,204 DB4 units back in 1958–1963 (see video). Each came powered by a 3.7-liter inline six-cylinder engine rated at 243 PS (240 hp / 179 kW). The standard 0-60 mph launch time was 9.3 seconds.
