An exotic Aston Martin V8 Shooting Brake made in 1998 is looking for a new owner in Germany. The listing claims only two such vehicles were made. The price is available upon request only.
Aston Martin vehicles had been converted into three-door wagons before this one, too. The most famous example is the DB5 Shooting Brake (see video) that David Brown Automotive assembled for its leader 60 years ago. However, Aston Martin itself has only ever produced one Shooting Brake model – it came out in 1992 and was based on Virage chassis. All other conversions are just that – aftermarket mods.
Rumor has it that it was the Virage Shooting Brake that inspired two customers to ask Aston Martin for similar cars, but with the V8 model at the bottom. The manufacturer obliged, delivering one of the two in British Racing Green. The V8 under the hood has 5.3 liters of displacement and makes 350 PS (345 hp / 257 kW).
The seller claims that the car has a fully transparent documented record and has two owners in the title – the original buyer and the current seller. With 53,300 km (33,100 miles) under its belt, it is reportedly in very good condition.
