Audi RS e-tron GT revealed with specs

While the standard Audi e-tron GT is underway to production, the German automaker is already hyping up its RS version. Reporters have recently received a copy to test and have a few things to report.

Regarding the powertrain, it looks like the RS e-tron GT has around 600 horsepower (450 kilowatts) at its disposal, along with some 850 Nm (634 lb-ft) of torque. Activating the Overboost mode temporarily bolsters the output to 655 PS (646 hp / 482 kW). The sedan needs between 3.1 and 3.5 seconds to reach 100 km/h (62 mph) and has enough juice for 400 km (248 miles) of uninterrupted driving.

The exterior of the RS closely mimics that of the e-tron Concept from two years ago, except for the badges and minor details.
