Spies peek inside Bentley’s debut SUV EV

The British luxury car maker has been testing its first-ever electric crossover on the streets lately, as evidenced by these exterior and interior spy shots posted on Carscoops.

Starting with the cabin, the biggest highlights there include a three-spoke steering wheel, a digital dashboard, and a strongly curved touchscreen on the console. The fit and finish correspond to what you would expect from a modern Bentley, but some details – like the button-strewn stalks under the steering wheel – look like they were directly borrowed from the VW ID.4 and the Audi Q3.

On the outside, the still-unnamed SUV wears new headlights that no longer look like those of the EXP15 Concept (see video). If anything, the whole thing resembles the latest Porsche Cayenne Electric more than it does that concept. Carscoops speculates that it may share the powertrains with the Cayenne as well, starting at 612 PS (603 hp / 450 kW) in the base spec.

The production-ready SUV is expected to debut in a year or so.
