A 2001 Bentley Arnage converted into a long limo with its rear doors swinging upwards is up for grabs for an asking price of $79,950. It has a touch above 27,000 km (16,750 miles) on the odo.
The listing fails to mention how much longer the car has become after the conversion, but such stretch limos are most commonly created using a special mid-body insert 1 meter (3.3 feet) long. What we know is that the custom wheels finished in orange and silver measure 20 inches across.
Inside, there are only four power-assisted seats made against an individual order. Light-hued leather covers the seats and other parts of the cabin, and modern amenities on board include cruise control and a reversing camera. The passengers enjoy a minibar, a TV set and an immersive ambient lighting system. When a partition wall is raised between the driver and the rest of the cabin, an intercom can be used for communication.
Power for the Arnage comes from its stock 6.75-liter V8 rated at 405 PS (400 hp / 298 kW) and 835 Nm (616 lb-ft) of torque, partnered with a four-speed auto transmission. The stock sedan sprints 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 6.3 seconds, and we would imagine the limo being considerably slower than that due to the added bulk.
