Bentley unleashes the quickest Bentayga ever

The 2025 Bentley Bentayga Speed commands more power and acceleration than any of its predecessors.

A 4.0-liter V8 under the hood of this new version delivers 650 PS (641 hp / 478 kW) and 850 Nm (627 lb-ft) of torque. That’s more power and torque than the W12 was capable of in the old generation. As a result, the car now zaps 0-96.6 km/h (0-60 mph) in 3.4 seconds – half of a second faster than the Speed W12. It also doesn’t hit its speed ceiling all the way until 310 km/h (192 mph).

Driver still get three modes to switch between, but while Comfort and Bentley stay unchanged, Sport has been reworked for a better experience. Among other things, it now makes shocks 15% stiffer when activated. It also unlocks a feature called ESC Dynamic, which relaxes stability control and enables drifting. Last but not least, the new Speed finally supports launch control, but you’ll have to equip it with pricey carbon-ceramic brakes for that.

On the outside, you’ll recognize the new crossover SUV by its blacked-out body accents, tinted lighting all around and new wheels available in a 23-inch diameter – the biggest so far. Those seeking a juicier exhaust soundtrack may opt for a quad-pipe exhaust system by Akrapovic.
