This Japanese Bentley Continental GT looks like a real attention grabber

One may argue that the first-gen Bentley Continental GT looks too reserved given its W12 turbo engine and €167,000 price tag. Still, you can always ask a tuner for a bit of customization here and there. The example you see here is called “ASI Tetsu GTR”, and it has been specifically designed by Japanese tuner ASI to attract crowds of onlookers.

The unique body kit was first unveiled in 2008, but it still manages to look modern – If not downright futuristic, that is. The highlights include a gigantic radiator grille, a front apron that almost seems to touch the ground, the round DRLs and air intakes, and wide front fenders. then there is a bulky rear, complete with a sporty-looking diffuser, a massive rear wing, and centered tailpipes.

Aside from the kit, the whole package also includes 22-inch forged wheels with black/gold dual finish wrapped in Toyo tires, a set of suspension-lowering springs, and a major performance upgrade (stock: 560 hp / 418 kW; tuned: 800 hp / 597 kW).

Among other things, the ASI Tetsu GTR boasts 12-piston (!) brake calipers sitting on brake discs measuring 400 millimeters (16 inches) in diameter. Can you imagine the kind of acceleration the heavy luxury grand tourer is capable of?

This special edition of the Bentley Continental GT only included 29 units, and the tuner sold them all out long ago. Each buyer received the opportunity to customize the interior of their car according to their individual project.
