Car Tuning
The German tuner hasn’t just designed a wide range of accessories for the BMW X3 M (F97), but also boosted its engine output.
While the standard X3 M Competition has 510 hp (380 kW) and 600 Nm (443 lb-ft) at its disposal, the AC Schnitzer version boasts 600 hp (443 kW) and the corresponding amount of torque.
Powered by its stock 3.0 I6 engine with dual turbochargers, the Competition concludes the 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) sprint in 4.1 seconds. The X3 M by AC Schnitzer manages the same in less than four seconds, leaving behind the bulkier and heavier Mercedes-AMG GLE 63, among other rivals.
As far as the body kit is concerned, the SUV gets a new front splitter, a rear wing, a suspension lowering kit (20-25 millimeters, or 0.8” – 1”), and two wheel sets in three available colors. The AC1 set comes wrapped in 255/45 R20 tires at the front end and 265/45 R20 ones at the rear end. The AC2 set uses 265/35 R22 and 275/35 R22 sizes, respectively.
The interior of the car benefits from aluminum pedal pads and a new paddle shifter.
