While Cristiano Ronaldo and other esteemed clients of Bugatti are still waiting to take delivery of their Centodieci coupes, some others are flipping theirs on the secondary market – even though the cars themselves aren’t even assembled yet.
The second such ad has just been posted with an asking price of €13,000,000, whole five million euros above the original price. The description says Bugatti will carry out the delivery on January 15, 2023 or later, after which the car will be prepared for its further shipping to its new owner. Aside from paying a huge premium, they will be no longer able to customize such parameters as the exterior finish, interior trim and other details.
Back in January, an exotic car dealership offered to buy another Centodieci for €12,500,000. This means at least two individuals who preordered the Centodieci did so with the explicit intent of flipping it even before the delivery.
The hypercar itself debuted three years ago as a celebratory model meant to mark the 110th anniversary of Bugatti. Its name literally means ‘one hundred ten’ in Italian. Based on the Chiron platform, it boasts a body inspired by the iconic EB110 Super Sport and a W16 engine dialed up to 1,600 PS (1,578 hp / 1,177 kW).
