The French luxury car marque has released some photos of a Chiron hypercar it built for a customer in Canada. It will be known as the last standard, 1500-horsepower Chiron ever made; only special editions remain in production now.
The hypercar is finished in black and copper. Motor1 specifies that the customer is none other than Bilal Hydrie, owner of a petroleum business in Calgary. Hydrie ordered the car in November 2021 (see video), paying at least $3,000,000, and had to wait until early 2024 for the delivery.
Bugatti announced in early 2022 that all standard Chiron production slots were reserved. A year later, however, a unique and unaccounted-for Chiron Profilee cropped up on auction sale. It ended up fetching U.S. $9,792,500 before taxes and fees.
While the production of the standard Chiron model may be permanently over now, Bugatti still has a few special editions to release. These include the Chiron Pur Sport and the Mistral roadster, which was introduced in 2022 as Bugatti’s last W16-powered street-legal car in history.
Aside from that, the company plans to produce 40 Bolide racecars based on the Chiron chassis. Each racer will receive custom bodywork, a track-focused interior and a power boost to 1,600 PS (1,578 hp / 1,177 kW).
