According to Daily Mail, the bodyguard of the soccer star learned the hard way just how fiery the temper of the Bugatti Veyron entrusted to him was as he let it slide off the road and straight into a wall.
The crash happened on Mallorca, Spain. Cristiano Ronaldo and his family was moving from his rental house to a marine yacht on another car, with his bodyguard following them behind in the Veyron. Witnesses said he swerved from the road at a bend, apparently unable to make the corner going too fast.
The police were quick to arrive on the scene, cover up the supercar with tarp and tow it away. The name of the driver was never revealed, but reports say he already took responsibility for the incident, claiming it was his fault. It remains to be seen whether the footballer chooses to seek damages.
