F1-themed Cadillac CT5-V heading to 26 V.I.P. buyers

The Miami Grand Prix took place last weekend, marking Cadillac’s first foray into Formula 1. The team landed on the 16th and 18th places in the ranking, but the automaker still deemed it worthy of celebrating with a limited-run CT5-V Blackwing F1.

The Motorsports division of General Motors fine-tunes every engine in this special batch, squeezing an extra 17 horsepower out of the block along with 19 Newton-meters of torque. This means that the 6.2-liter supercharged V8 becomes good for 695 PS (685 hp / 511 kW) and 911 Nm (672 lb-ft) of torque. The transmission is strictly six-speed manual, the drive is on the rear wheels, and the suspension benefits from a host of track-friendly adjustments, Cadillac says.

Those buying the saloon won’t be able to individualize its exterior or cabin in any way. It comes painted and trimmed in matte black with rare glossy accents, grey brake calipers and a carbon-fiber body kit. The brakes get carbon-ceramic discs as standard, and Cadillac sprinkles the body and cabin with numerous emblems and plaques to up the exclusivity value.

The first deliveries are scheduled for late 2026. Only 26 examples will be made. The pricing is unknown at the moment, but a similarly well-equipped CT5-V Blackwing is liable to cost you around $130,000 in the United States.
