Car Tuning

Check out Tim Allen’s wildly customized Cadillac DeVille

U.S. comedian Tim Allen is also a known car aficionado, and this 2000 Cadillac DeVille is one of his custom rides. It is on sale right now with the bidding already above $20,000.

As far as we know, Michigan-based tuner Wheel to Wheel carried out the project. They replaced stock wheels with 18-inch König rims, added a roll bar, improved and lowered the suspension, and retrofitted the brake system with perforated/vented rotors and four-piston Brembo calipers.

The engine also got its share of attention, winding up with new cylinder heads, high-compression pistons, a new air intake system and a Corsa Performance exhaust. As a result, the power rating went up by 99 horsepower to 403 PS (397 hp / 296 kW).

Things have stayed more or less untouched in the cabin. Despite its low mileage of 13,000 miles (21,000 kilometers), the car shows signs of wear: the tires have seen better days, the wheels are scratched in places, one key is missing, and the maintenance record has unexplained gaps in it.
