The Chevrolet Blazer Cheyenne Chalet is a fairly rare camper from the ‘70s running on the platform of the Blazer K5 pickup. Only 1,800 units were made, and an example with 92,000 km (a touch above 57,000 miles) has recently cropped up on Bring-a-Trailer.
The car, which you can see in detail in the gallery below, features a stainless-steel frame and glass-fiber plastic bodywork. The top retracts, the windows slide open and the tailgate is styled as a normal hinged door. A peek inside reveals a dining area and a mini-kitchen complete with a stovetop, a fridge and a sink. When not used, the dining room easily converts into a bedroom.
Power still comes from the K5’s stock V8 engine, which produced 165 PS (163 hp / 121 kW) when it was new. The transmission was three-speed automatic.
