The Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 will be hitting the Le Mans racetrack in a few hours, and GM wants us to celebrate the occasion with a racer-inspired limited edition.
Only 56 cars will be made exclusively for the United States. Compared to the stock ZL1 (see video), they will be painted blue with a broad gold-rimmed white stripe running down the middle. One of the c-pillars bears a Hendrick Motorsports logo, and there are Garage 56 badges on the front fenders.
Black side mirror caps, a spoiler and an anniversary hood badge round off the exterior mods. If you wish, you may purchase up to three additional decal packages with all kinds of badges and graphics.
The exclusive ZL1 makes do with its stock V8, which isn’t necessarily bad because the mill makes 659 PS (650 hp / 485 kW) and 880 Nm (649 lb-ft) of torque.
