Car Tuning
The original Scooby Doo movie aired two decades ago with Matthew Lillard as Shaggy. To celebrate the milestone, the company decided to reproduce the iconic Mystery Machine based on a Chevy van – and you can even rent it out!
The car has been painstakingly styled to look like its movie prototype with a combination of turquoise, orange and green in the color scheme. The interior lacks any Scooby Doo references, but houses a comfy queen’s bed and is furnished in a manner guaranteed to make you sorely nostalgic about 2002. The retro mood is further enhanced by such details as a lava lamp and a CD player.
Customers who rent the Mystery Machine get unlimited snacks with it, notably including the favorite menu of Scooby and Shaggy (think hamburgers). There is also a nighttime movie plan, which lets you spent a night with your significant other watching cinema with a generous supply of popcorn and candy on board.
The Mystery Machine will be available for rent starting from June 24, but interested customers are encouraged to place their reservations from June 16. Prices start as low as $20 per day.
