Chrysler shelves new releases for now

Chrysler CEO Chris Feuell has admitted that the company won’t be able to deliver the SUV and sedan it previewed earlier in 2026 as originally hoped. Both are still being worked on, but there is no longer any kind of launch date for either.

Speaking in a recent interview, Feuell added that the SUV was conceptualized with a hybrid powertrain. An EV variant could be released, too, given enough demand.

As for the sedan, it was supposed to come shortly after the SUV and become a successor-of-sorts to the Chrysler 300, which dropped out of production a couple of years ago. The company promised before that it would be based on the Halcyon Concept seen in the gallery and the video here. It remains to be seen, though, whether Chrysler has what it takes to see it through to the production.
