Dacia is heading into 2023 with a new logo, brand identity for dealerships and printed materials, and its entire lineup of cars. Pre-orders will open today, June 16, but shipments will not begin until Q4 2022.
The new logo is called Dacia Link and features interlinked D and C letters in the middle that adorn the new radiator grille and wheel hubcaps. The image is supposed to symbolize design simplicity and reliability.
There is a new logo for the interior as well: the manufacturer’s name written in a modern font can be found on the steering wheel. Another instance can be seen on the trunk lid (or tailgate).
Customers get one additional color choice called Lichen Khaki, which is supposed to evoke associations with green forest moss and strengthen the marque’s ties with nature. To deliver on this promise., Dacia will soon completely stop using chrome décor and natural leather trim. Finally, roof rails, side mirrors and other exterior accents are now available in a new shade called Monolith Grey.
Dacia reports that it is on course to becoming Renault Group’s first marque to limit the top speed of its cars at 180 km/h (112 mph).
