EDGE Customs goes overboard with RADICAL new Dodge Challenger kit

EDGE Customs is a Japanese tuner team known throughout the world for its over-the-top styling kits for various car models. You may recollect some of their creations, such as the Dodge Challenger SRT Demon King Size, the Jeep Grand Cherokee Track Hork or the Ford Mustang R. Still, the new Dodge Challenger “S” RT Hellcat revealed at the latest Tokyo Auto Salon somehow manages to put them all to shame.

The American dragster gets a monstrous body kit made out of visible carbon fiber. The kit contains extreme fender flares, a massive front splitter and a huge rear diffuser, among other things.

The ducktail spoiler for the trunk lid has a see-though plastic attachment with the tuner’s name printed on it. The car now also rides on a new, giant set of wheels clad in Nitto performance tires.

The front headlights are now accompanied by triangular red lights, whereas the brake lights now bear the Edge Customs logo on them.

Rounding off the jaw-dropping experience is an entire second show car called Dodge Challenger “S” RT Hellcat “Shaker”. Being the ultimate version of the tuning described above, it sports an all-carbon body and loads of additional carbon bits and pieces, such as canards, side flaps etc.
