Sam CarLegion has posted another exciting video from the drag strip featuring a Japanese performance sedan going up against a Korean one.
Both were produced in 2023. The Kia Stinger GT Tribute Edition utilizes a 3.3-liter V6 twin-turbocharged to 370 PS (365 hp / 272 kW). It commands an all-wheel-drive system and an eight-speed automatic gearbox.
In turn, the Infiniti Q50 Red Sport Black Opal Edition relies on a 3.0-liter twin-turbo engine to get its 400 PS (394 hp / 294 kW). All four wheels are driven as well, but the AT has seven speeds instead of eight.
It is worth pointing out that the Stinger GT is heavier with 1,895 kg (4,178 lbs) of curb weight, whereas the Q50 is lighter with 1,813 kg (3,997 lbs). It remains to be seen how this difference may affect the outcome of the race.
