Novitec teaches Ferrari 12Cilindri to forget how to be tame

For a supercar named after having a dozen of cylinders under the hood, the Ferrari 12Cilindri looks rather mild and sounds a bit on the quieter side, considering its status. Novitec’s latest tuning effort aims at fixing exactly that.

For starters, the coupe gets a custom exhaust system fabricated from heat-resistant Inconel alloy and equipped with valves for sound adjustment. Those interested in faster heat exchange may opt for actual gold plating on the system. High-performance catalytic converters are also on the list, with the tuner claiming that they improve the powertrain specs, but the specific gains aren’t mentioned. In its stock form, the 12Cilindri is good for 830 PS (819 hp / 610 kW) and 678 Nm (500 lb-ft) of torque.

Quite a few modifications were made in the chassis department. The suspension was dropped by 30 mm (1.2”) at both axles and the tuner’s signature NF11 wheels were installed in 21” size at the front and 22” at the back. A body kit was designed for the model with a carbon-fiber front splitter, a rear diffuser, hood vents, front fender vents and other similar add-ons.

Last but not least, Novitec stocks on a range of interior options. The specifics aren’t there yet, but you can already contact the company for a preorder and a quotation.
