Ferrari 488 coupe and spider drop 30 mm of ride height thanks to H&R

The German suspension parts manufacturer has released its lowering springs for the Ferrari 488 in GTB Coupé and Spider variants. Thus we learned that the Italian sports car actually had some wiggle room in the ride height department.

All modifications produced starting from 2015 are supported, except the track-focused Pista version. Installed on the coupe, the springs reduce the ground clearance by 30 mm (1.2 inches) at both axles, resulting in more direct steering and cornering. For the Spider, the rear-end lowering will not exceed 25 mm (1 inch) due to design limitations.

Buying the full H&R kit in Germany where it is produced costs €891. Also available for the Ferrari 488 are assorted Trak+ wheel spacers starting from €230, but for some reason, the company warns that they only fit the Coupé.
