An elusive LaFerrari heading to auction with $4.5M expected price

A 2014 Ferrari LaFerrari will go on sale in late January finished in a unique color combo: Blu Elettrico for the body and Crema leather for the cabin. This, plus low mileage and the fact that only 500 units was made, should warrant it a selling price in the vicinity of $4–4.5 million USD, the auction holder comments.

Greg Whitten, a well-known car collector from Seattle, ordered this particular hypercar and was its sole owner. Back in 2018, Whitten sold a Ferrari 250 GTO for $48.4 million, setting a new price record for cars made in the Maranello HQ.

He was also the one who insisted on this color combination for the LaFerrari, picking grey wheels with black brake calipers and a black top.

The mileage is reported as 3,185 miles, or 5,127 kilometers. The winning bidder will be getting a certificate of authenticity confirming that the car is 100% original.

Back when it came out, the Ferrari flagship came equipped with a hybrid powertrain based on a 6.3-liter V12. It produced up to 953 PS (940 hp / 701 kW) and needed less than three seconds for the sprint from zero to 100 km/h (62 mph).
