DMC rolls out a tuning plan for the Ferrari Roma

German aftermarket specialist DMC has more in stock for the sporty Italian saloon than just aerodynamics this time around.

The list begins with a body kit that incorporates a front splitter, side skirts mounted directly on the OEM sills, a rear lip spoiler, and a rear diffuser, Everything comes finished with clear lacquer for a ‘raw carbon’ look and matches well with custom black alloy wheels sized 21 inches across on the front axle and 22 inches in the back. Having said that, the wheels are listed on the website, but not shown on the official photos.

The suspension drops by as much as 35 mm (1.4 inches), while the interior can be overhauled completely using any combination of leather, artificial suede and carbon fiber you can think of.

Things stay stock in the hardware department except for an external ECU, which manages to squeeze quite a bit of extra performance from the engine. Fine-tuning the ignition, injection and turbocharger parameters raises the output to 720 PS (710 hp / 529 kW) and 888 Nm (655 lb-ft) of torque, exceeding both OEM numbers by around 100 points. Tweaked like this, the Roma snaps to life from standstill and reaches 100 km/h (62 mph) in mere 3.2 seconds, while the top speed goes up to 326 km/h (202 mph).
