Despite all odds, Fisker did launch the production of its delayed Ocean SUV in Austria last month. Still, with the production schedule involving just 300 units in the first quarter of 2023, the company will want to bring its other model, the Pear, to the market soon. Here is what it looks like.
The official shots are provided by Henrik Fisker himself, who promised us that the Pear would break out of stereotypical body style restrictions. In reality, though, what we see here is a rather typical compact crossover SUV equipped with larger-than-usual wheels and a sloped roof. It comes based on a new architecture that should guarantee it a simple construction, 500 km (310 miles) of range and an affordable $29,900 starting price.
Another promise is that of a roomy interior, but it has only been shown in a couple of sketches so far. The production is set to take place in Ohio in 2024.
