To commemorate Carroll Shelby on his 100th birthday, the company has designed a special edition of the gen.6 Ford Mustang, which will have a production run of 100 units. The first cars will be shipped this spring.
The Carroll Shelby Centennial Edition is easily recognizable thanks to its body kit parts, different radiator grille and anniversary badging all around. As a bonus, the buyers will be getting black Stetson hats of the fashion Shelby himself liked to wear.
In addition to the above, every Mustang comes equipped with a supercharger, a more efficient radiator and a Borla performance exhaust system. The resulting output is 761 PS (750 hp / 560 kW).
Elsewhere, the pony car benefits from improved suspension, new 20-inch forged wheels and a cabin decorated with commemorative plaques and badges. All of the above commands a $49,995 premium over the stock car.
