Car Tuning
Early this year, Japanese tuning company Varis has brought a wide body kit for the Honda Civic Type R to the Tokyo Auto Salon (see video). The company has now posted more photos from its workshop, hinting that something new is happening to the kit. Could a new version be in the works?
The original was called Arising-1 and was made of carbon-fiber reinforced polymer material. It included a front spoiler, flared fenders, door moldings, a new hood cover and a rear wing.
Aside from the above, customers were offered optional aluminum wheels finished in black, a suspension lowering kit, side skirts and front bumper canards.
The availability date and pricing have not been announced yet. Varis is not on the list of this year’s SEMA show participants, unfortunately, but we still look forward to seeing their body kits used in other tuners’ projects.
