The new Hyundai Exter Knight for India wears a dark trim and is still relatively affordable with prices in the range of 838,000–1,043,000 Rupees.
The new trim package replaces every chrome part of the exterior décor with black plastic. This includes bumper garnishes at both ends, badges and wheels. The images released by the manufacturer show the car finished in black to match the rest, but the Knight package is also available for white, grey and khaki-colored crossovers. Sporty red accents round off the styling on the outside.
Inside, the trim is just as black as the exterior with red accents on the vents and the controls. The stitching all around is red, too.
Trim-wise, the Exter Knight starts very close to the top. As such, it has LED headlights, six airbags, an 8-inch infotainment display, a wireless charger, a reversing camera and a sunroof in the minimal version. All propulsion is handled by the standard 1.2-liter petrol engine rated at 83 PS (82 hp / 61 kW) and 114 Nm (84 lb-ft) of torque. You can choose between five-speed manual and five-speed auto for the transmission, and that’s about it.
