A UK-based tuning shop has built a one-off open-top monster truck with vintage looks and a modest £19,750 asking price (less than $24,500).
You might be tempted to say that the photos are 3D renderings, but this is not the case. The body of the car is that of a JPR Wildcat, a modern Jaguar E-Type replica with a custom GFRP exterior. There is an automatic soft top, a mini-rack on the trunk lid, running boards for convenience and undercarriage guards for off-road driving. The chassis and the ladder frame come from a stock 1984 Range Rover.
The same SUV donates its 3.5-liter V8 to the project. The engine drives all four wheels through a five-speed manual gearbox. The power output is not specified, but the original had 157 PS (155 hp / 115 kW) in its highest spec. The odometer shows a touch above 200,000 km (nearly 125,000 miles) of use, most of it pre-conversion.
