Zacoe redefines modern BMW M2 with a styling upgrade

Novelties
The compact-sized Kia Sonic SUV has received a slight facelift and a notable technical upgrade three years after the launch, becoming a mild hybrid among other things.
The optional EcoDynamics+ 48V system assists the newest 1.0-liter turbocharged three-cylinder engine from the Smartstream series, resulting in 100 or 120 hp (75 or 90 kW) of power hitting the wheels. The peak torque reaches as high as 200 Nm (150 lb-ft). An MHSG starter-generator and a lithium-ion traction battery support regenerative braking and can temporarily disengage the main engine when coasting under 125 km/h (77.7 mph). During the initial acceleration, the MHSG helps save fuel.
Three operation modes are available: Eco, Sport, and Normal. Transmissions include a new six-speed manual design called iMT, which is clutch-by-wire, and 7DCT. The 100hp spec can be obtained without the electric starter, and there is a 1.2L naturally aspirated spec with 84 hp (63 kW) at the outgoing end.
Inside, the UVO Connect infotainment system goes into Phase II, sporting an eight-inch touchscreen, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, and simultaneous support for two Bluetooth devices. The 4.2-inch dashboard screen stays the same size while getting better resolution. The automatic brake assist can now recognize cyclists, and apadtive cruise control with lane control are now functional up until 180 km/h (112 mph). The airbag count is up to six.
The 2021 Kia Sonic will hit the showrooms throughout Europe in the third quarter of this year.
