Bike maker KTM has been perfecting its X-Bow family of sports cars for 15 years now, and the new GT-XR joins the lineup with goodies for both racers and occasional track day enthusiasts.
The car is essentially a road-legal conversion of the X-Bow GT2 model introduced in 2020. It is largely track-focused, but shas mounting points for the number plaque and lighting, making it legal for daily driving on public roads.
The GT-XR utilizes a carbon-fiber monocoque and lacks doors – you have to raise the glass dome to get inside. The engine is a turbocharged five-cylinder mill linked with the rear axle via a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. With 500 PS (493 hp / 368 kW) and 581 Nm (429 lb-ft) of torque at its disposal, the track tool reaches 100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.4 seconds and tops out at 280 km/h (174 mph).
Prices start from €284,900.
