Car Tuning
As you probably have heard, Underground Racing is a performance tuner who likes it big. When it releases a power kit, it likely comes with a four-digit horsepower boost. Today, though, the company sent ripples across the entire tuning world as it unveiled this Lamborghini Huracán Twin Turbo X with an insane 3,500 horsepower (2,610 kilowatts) under its command.
The team started with a 2015 Lambo Huracán. They decided to keep the stock 5.2-liter V10 engine, but reworked the entire drivetrain from the ground up, replacing and strengthening virtually all of its components. They then fitted two humongous turbine chargers onto the engine, raising its output almost sixfold.
To put things into perspective: 3,500 horsepower is roughly twice the output of the Bugatti Chiron and more than three times as much as the output of the Koenigsegg Regera.
Needless to say, Underground Racing immediately proceeded to take its Lambo Huracán Twin Turbo X out for a drag race showdown with the Chiron. The monstrous vehicle literally annihilated its poor French rival by covering the half-mile strip in under 14 seconds and accelerating to 417 km/h (259 mph) as it did so.
