Ultra-rare Lamborghini Sian spied out in the open

In an earlier announcement, Lamborghini promised to produce a strictly limited batch of new Aventador-based supercars named the Sian. Only 63 vehicles will be built, an homage to the company establishment year of 1963. The camera crowd has now spotted the first prototype.

Looking at it, one is tempted to believe it is more an alien ship than a supercar. The active rear wing and hexagonal twin tailpipes are especially impressive.

It is already official that the Sian comes powered by a 6.5-liter V12 good for 785 PS (774 hp / 577 kW), as well as a minor electric motor contributing another 34 PS (34 hp / 25 kW). The combined nominal output thus amounts to 819 PS (808 hp / 602 kW). The standard sprint is a matter of 2.8 seconds, and the top speed is capped at 350 km/h (217 mph).
