A while ago, Brabus graced the world with a bold and expressive 900 Superblack SUV featuring Lamborghini Urus underpinnings. It combined a menacing exterior with the titular 900 PS (888 hp / 662 kW). The tuner has now announced an alternative called Mint, which has the same mechanical bits but is somehow even pricier.
The biggest distinguishing trait of this new build is the body-matched aero kit. A front splitter, air intake shrouds, fender flares, both rear spoilers and a diffuser – everything is finished in the same matte shade of green. Exposed carbon details are few and far between, although you can still easily spot some on the steering wheel and the scuff plates.
A peek inside the arches reveals a set of the tuner’s own Monoblock Z Platinum Edition 10-spoke wheels. They sit snugly in their wells thanks to a 20mm (0.8”) reduction in ride height courtesy of the Brabus SportXtra module.
Like the Superblack, the Mint churns out 900 metric horsepower and 1,050 Nm (774 lb-ft) of torque. The tuning focuses on the 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 and avoids messing with the electric motor. Even so, both SUVs have no problem hitting 100 km/h (62 mph) from standstill in 3.2 seconds.
The Brabus 900 Superblack is by no means an affordable machine with its €544,098 starting price, but the Mint manages to surpass it with €583,071 before options.
