The Japanese premium automaker decided to discontinue the CT and RC models in Europe without providing any kind of substitution, as well as not to bring the next-gen IS sedan to the Old World countries.
As of today, the Lexus CT and RC are no longer being imported in Europe, and dealerships are getting rid of the remaining stock.
The official explanation is rather plain: the model range needs updating, and so, the older models need to go. While true, this does not explain why neither the coupe nor the hatchback get any kind of successors.
As for the Lexus IS (see video), the sedan was highly unpopular in Europe, so a decision was made to remove it from the entire region.
