Leading Ideal has launched the assembly lines of its L9 model, a crossover SUV for the Chinese domestic market.
The Li L9 debuted in spring as the budding automaker’s second production car. It is nearly identical to the first one in terms of drivetrain and tech, just with new styling.
The pilot batch of the SUVs has already rolled off the lines at the company’s factory in Changzhou, China. Interested customers can already order a top-trim version of the L9 starting from 460,000 Yuan ($68,000 USD). Leading Ideal plans to produce 10,000 vehicles next month; cheaper trims will become available later.
