Lordstown Endurance e-truck reveals cabin

Lordstown Motors has shared photos showing the interior of its first full-electric pickup truck, Endurance. Motorized wheels are the car’s main selling feature, but for now, let’s peek inside the cabin.

The pics reveal a digital cluster composed of three displays around ten inches across each. One serves as the instrument panel, another one reports on the current torque distribution and battery status, and the last one serves as the infotainment screen with Apple CarPlay support. Three hardware switches can be used to toggle individual screens on/off.

The fascia wears fabric upholstery, while the center console houses a gear selector knob, an electronic handbrake, a pocket for small miscellaneous items, and a couple of cup holders. The pillars sport railings, testifying to the off-road capabilities of the truck, and the gloss-black buttons on the steering wheel resemble touch panels, although it remains open whether they are or not.

In an earlier news, it was reported that around 40,000 customers have pre-ordered the Lordstown Endurance since June, nearly tripling the initial pre-order count.
