A businessman from Australia felt like decorating the interior of his apartment with a used McLaren Senna GTR, but the supercar didn’t fit into the elevator. He did it anyway.
Adrian Portelli, 34, a multi-millionaire, says he purchased an apartment in the Twin Towers skyscraper complex in Australia for 39,000,000 AUD (nearly 26,000,000 USD). In order to get the supercar inside, he had to dismantle multiple window frames and use a crane to hoist it to the 57th floor. The TV channel 9 News Australia covered the story.
At the time of writing, Portelli’s penthouse – which is 1,208 square meters, or 13,000 square feet, large – remains empty save for the supercar. The reason for it is that the building itself is still under construction, scheduled for commissioning in late 2024.
